Stop with the Judging

Every girl is beautiful. Beauty is subjective. Of course pointing it out to boys who wants a perfect girl on the basis of looks (because brains don't matter to brainless males) make sure you are nothing less than Tom Cruise or Ian Somerhalder or somebody like Hrithik Roshan or John Abraham.

You don't want a Human who can emotionally support you, fine better stay alone rather than cribbing how unhappy you are with your less than perfect or not-at-all perfect better half. You cannot appreciate her or make her feel special, that is not her fault. You are too much a part of the society which judges female according to her physical appearance. Too sexy, labelled as a you-know-what and exactly the opposite or even perhaps not in the best shape, is boring and unattractive.

The next time you point a finger at a girl and provide your not so needed shallow opinions, remember, one day perhaps a women of your family will be subjected to the same gaze. And by chance if you see your better half like the society judges her according to her looks, there cannot be another miserable and poor person than you. And you know why, she of all people chose you to hold her hand. Little did she know, this guy who was standing next to her cannot appreciate what she is essentially at the core. She is perhaps the unluckiest and hapless human who would have done much better without you.

Guess who's back, back again!

"Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody's going to know whether you did it or not." -Oprah Winfrey

I am back. Or at least I think I am! I have been craving to blog for more than a month now. But being being and being lazy took alternating turns to get in the way :P

So.... lots has changed since I last blogged. I have started gymming to stay fit. I am trying to do it religiously but don't know yet to what extent it will go on. I have also started to maintain a record of what I eat and precisely calculate my calorie intake. I have been working on my skin a lot. I keep tryin a lot of DIY (and trust me it does wonders).

I was contemplating starting a new blog page for myself and leave this one as a memory of my past days, because my writing and thinking style have definitely changed. But then I decided that I enjoy being machogirl too much to move away from this page. So here I am! This is me and there is nowhere else on earth I'd rather be! :P
Inspiration

Although I've been experimenting with bold colors lately, I never love anything more than simple single color dress. Sometimes I think it makes more of a statement. These are really old pictures of mine (flashback manipal days ). These dress is from splash and are the perfect light weight material.

Bang on

I know it has become a routine me apologising and getting back to square. It’s been an extremely busy start to the year and I 'm barely managing to keep the ends from snapping. You've all been such amazing dolls It really just wants me to make up to u
guys more.
Have you ever felt like you're almost failing?
Like you've done nothing right, nothing right enough, not even close.
Yes? Well, here is a virtual hug from someone who feels the same.
I've been feeling this now way more than ever.
It's been a year of almost failing.I like to believe that this is what successful people feel before they succeed.
I am quite the optimist. I know.
need to tell you this. You(s).

If your anger was a black dagger stabbed at the back of your neck,
I would understand and let you keep it there.
If your indifference was a star in the sky,
I'd make a wish on it every night for you.
If your jealousy was a white flag you're hiding at war with yourself,
I will never want you to surrender.
I won't change you for the better.
My love for you won't falter.
But I will.

I like this feeling. It's familiar. Almost nostalgic, yet novel in some ways

The Bling Bling

“Bling" is not an indication of riches. It is a product of value-based spending, to enrich the pockets of those outside of ones sphere of influence.”
Who doesn’t love some bling?
Happy new year my dear readers!I hope you had a wonderful time with your loved ones, I for sure did!
This days I am running like crazy with many things that came up and so far it's a great year :P
I am easily distracted by shiny objects. It is said that she who leaves a trail of glitter is never forgotten. Damn right. We girls love everything that's blingy and colorful, don't we? So here I am with something which is purely blingy, pretty and girly!
This is my wallet that I blinged it up #neonlove

I know it doesn't look that professional but this are my personalized cases and I love how it turned out to be so I am happy :D

Out of your closet

“Don’t give up! It’s not over. The Universe is balanced. Every set-back bears with it the seeds of a comeback.” - Steve Maraboli

It amazes me how angry some people get about fat women. As if my existence is personally offensive to them.

Again there are some of us who are never satisfied with what they have. For example, those from countries with dark skin want to be light, those with light skin want to be dark, you also find those with straight hair wanting curls, and those with curls want it straight. Then of course there is a constant pressure to be thinner, curvier, up-to-date… and the list goes on… but generally it’s something different to what we are right now!
Being comfortable and happy in your own skin is a place that lot of people struggle to make it to.

Truthfully, I support being healthy, and if that means losing weight, then that’s what should be done.  But don’t assume that because I haven’t lost weight that I'm not trying or I don’t want to. Don’t assume that I am lazy or Indiscipline simply because you don’t see results. Yes, I wear the visible signs of my failures all over my body, but haven’t we all failed a time or two – even those of us who don’t carry the visible signs? So what is this fuss about???

Be honest with yourself about how you feel when you look in the mirror. If you don’t like what you see, change it and if you love what you see embrace it. :)

I am putting up few pictures that I have clicked few days back. Well Yeah before getting ready for an event.:)

                        I like editing pictures

This dress is gifted by a friend of mine, again a single color dress... I love colors:)

Black and White

“Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.” -Niccolò Machiavelli

I have been finding myself continuously deferring to black and white palette these days. So I have  put few pics in black and white. As a color combination, black and white is very optic and creates a high amount of contrast.I paired the black and white polka dot top from Vero moda with a pair of black jeans and a skirt in the second one. This outfits are something simple which I just threw on without thinking too much.

Don't mind the mess in the room. haha

My friend’s the main point is that no matter who you are or what your shape is, always remember to leave a little to the imagination. Show your curves without hugging every inch of you skin-tight. Bare your best parts, and last but least, flash your confidence!

Monochrome

“While clothes may not make the women, they certainly have a strong effect on her self- confidence-  which I believe, does make the women”.
   Mary Kay Ash.

Monochrome doesn’t stop with black and white. Anything portrayed as a single color with different shades can be called monochromatic. The monochrome is also ageless, i.e., it’s always ‘in’. This trend can be worn by women of all ages, shapes and sizes.

It might sound too basic, but monochrome ensembles call for a lot of attention because of the polished sophistication they exude. Also, it’s next to impossible to go wrong with this trend. This is one trend you can carry to the next season as well because what’s classy stays classy round the year.

I did my monochrome look in Red. I utterly love this dress in quilt effect. I of course accessorized with a gold chain and a bangle. I am one for gold accessories.
